ANSA MOTORSPORTS RACING AT HOME THIS WEEKEND AT ST. PETERSBURG

Following its first Pirelli World Challenge GTS Championship win, with its all-new REITER Engineering KTM X-Bow GT4, ANSA Motorsports is looking to race on Friday and Saturday at its home track in the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., located only 250 miles from its Miami Gardens headquarters. Drivers Dore Chaponick Jr. -- and Brett Sandberg, winner of round 2 at Circuit of the Americas last Sunday --  are eager to start practicing on Friday on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn street circuit of St. Petersburg. Austin, TX - Mar 05, 2016: The gts takes to the track on Pirelli tires during the Nissan Grand Prix of Texas presented by VP Racing Fuels at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX for the first event in the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge. The South Florida racing team, owned by Alain Nadal, is bringing to St. Petersburg its winning momentum after last Sunday’s win in Texas. ANSA Motorsports won the second Pirelli World Challenge GTS Championship race they ever entered, and they want to continue to win. Chaponick will drive the No. 12 ANSA Motorsports KTM X-Bow, and after the misfortune encountered during the Texas season opener, the driver from Miami wants to put round 1 and 2 behind him and focus on finishing on the podium this week at St Petersburg. Sandberg won his fifth Pirelli World Challenge race last Sunday, his first in the GTS Championship and first with ANSA Motorsports. The New Jersey racer was outstanding during round 2 at COTA and is looking for more at St Petersburg, where he will drive the No. 13 ANSA Motorsports KTM X-Bow. Thanks to the precious help of the REITER Engineering engineers, who worked really well with the ANSA Motorsports technicians during the first Pirelli World Challenge GTS Championship weekend, everything went smoother than anticipated. REITER Engineering produced a very competitive KTM X-Bow GT4 race car that for now is able to compete with the rest of the GTS Championship field, and it is exciting for the near future.
