ANSA MOTORSPORTS TO PARTNER WITH ADESS AG TO RACE THE ADESS-03 LMP3 IN THE USA AND EUROPE
A few days before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Alain Nadal, co-owner of ANSA Motorsports, is pleased to announce that his company just entered into a partnership with Advanced Design and Engineering Systems Solutions. ANSA Motorsports is now the Exclusive Partner of ADESS AG in the United States. ANSA Motorsports will be the first to test and compete with an ADESS-03 in the United States.
ANSA Motorsports, a Miami Gardens, Florida, racing organization, was created in 2005. During the last decade, ANSA Motorsports has become one of the most recognized, south Florida racing teams. Since 2012, ANSA Motorsports won three sports-car North American championships and is currently competing with success in the Pirelli World Challenge.
"My partner, Patrick Otto Madsen, and I are pleased to announce the partnership with Stéphane Chosse's ADESS AG," Alain Nadal said. "ANSA Motorsports foresees a great future for the LMP3 class in North America, and this is one of the reasons that we wanted to partner with ADESS AG, which is one of the eligible LMP3 car makers."
Chosse, a former F1 engineer, founded ADESS AG, a design and engineering company, in 2012. The company specializes not only in design, but also in research, development, manufacturing and testing for the motor-racing industry, as well as other lightweight structures and high-technology sectors.
ADESS is the maker of the ADESS-03, an LMP3 race car, featuring a fully enclosed survival cell and powered by a Nissan 420 bhp normally aspirated V8 engine with an X-Trac gearbox. The ADESS-03 has been designed in the spirit of the LMP3 technical regulations, which is a good mix between performance and cost. The ADESS-03 recently hit the track in Germany and Malaysia, and the first ANSA Motorsports ADESS-03 LMP3 car should arrive in the U.S. in August and be ready for testing soon thereafter.
"I am delighted to announce our partnership with ANSA Motorsports," said Chosse, CEO of ADESS AG. "The United States is a key market for the development of the LMP3 class, and we are pleased that ADESS AG is one of the first six authorized LMP3 car makers to make its cars available to U.S. customers for their future racing programs. Drivers and teams interested in purchasing an ADESS-03 car can contact us, so we can discuss and offer the best, cost-effective solution for them to test, own and race an ADESS LMP3 in the USA."
ANSA Motorsports plans to compete with the ADESS-03 in the USA, but is also looking to start a European racing program in which the Florida race team would compete, with the support of ADESS AG, in one of the series where the LMP3 class is eligible.
ANSA Motorsports has opened an office in Europe and is looking for drivers, partners and sponsors interested in joining ANSA Motorsports' European racing challenge.
Introduced by Automobile Club de l'Ouest in 2015, the LMP3 class allows drivers coming from different horizons, like open-wheel, to race a very high-tech, cost-effective, closed-cockpit prototype. In the pyramid of Le Mans prototypes, LMP3 becomes the first step on the ladder, before moving up to the LMP2 and LMP1 classes (the latter in the FIA WEC and 24 Hours of Le Mans).
