ANSA WINS SUPER TWINS BIKE RACE AT DAYTONA!
The DAYTONA 200 kicked off the 2015 motorcycle racing season last weekend at Daytona International Speedway. The event featured the American SportBike Racing Association’s (ASRA) 600cc machines.
80 bikers attempted to qualify but only 53 made the Daytona 200 field of the iconic race wher the winner gets a Rolex Cosmograph.
ANSA Motorsports’ Ducatti rider, Barrett Long, qualified 5th but despite a competitive race was not able to finish the race.
On Sunday, Long came back with a vengeance and took the start of the Daytona Super Twins race with winning expectations. After an epic race the ANSA rider won the race and his ANSA Motorsports teammate, Jones Concepcion, finished third.
This was ANSA Motorsports’ second victory this season after winning the first race at Homestead Miami Speedway earlier. Next race for Barrett Long and Jones Concepcion is March 21-22 at Homestead.
