MADSEN TO COMPETE IN THE 2014 SUPERKARTS! USA NATIONALS
Patrick Otto Madsen To Compete in the 2014 Superkarts! USA Nationals
In the world of motorsports, few races can be billed as the race of the year, but time and time again the SKUSA SuperNationals have been dubbed the pinnacle karting event of the year. This year marks the fourteenth running of the prestigious race, and as usual, it is poised once again to be “the race of the year.”
In an effort to stay in shape between the 2014 and 2015 racing seasons, 2014 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama Gold Cup class Champion, Patrick Otto Madsen, will compete in the Superkarts! USA SuperNationals week in Las Vegas! Madsen will compete against the best kart drivers in the world.
Patrick will compete in the S4 - Master Stock Moto class. Madsen’s No. 99 kart is a BIREL Chassis with Honda power, the Kart will be prepared by Paul Cornel.
In just six days, karts will be ripping around the parking lot of the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino at the MG Tires Superkarts USA SuperNationals XVIII. The world-renowned event is scheduled for November 19-23, with over 500 drivers from all across the globe ready to converge on Las Vegas. The event will also serve as the Superkarts USA Pro Tour series finale, which helps to boost the total prize package for the 18th annual event to eclipse the $100,000 mark.
Superkarts! USA has today announced that the upcoming SKUSA SuperNationals XVIII will be televised on major primetime network television via CBS Sports Network. The move comes as a result of a new partnership with motorsports specific upstart, Torque.tv
Torque.tv is the new production venture from Roger Werner, the visionary who founded Speedvision (and later SPEED Channel). The network will serve as a motorsports specific destination for racing and automotive enthusiasts worldwide. The network’s business model will combine both a revolutionary on demand subscription package with traditional primetime network television broadcasts. Both mediums will combine to provide an all-inclusive destination for viewers on a myriad of devices, including TV, mobile, and tablet.
