SECOND PLACE FOR BRETT SANDBERG, AT CTMP RACE 1
ANSA Motorsports racer, Brett Sandberg, driving the No. 13 KTM X-Bow GT4, finished second in round 7 of the Pirelli world Challenge GTS championship yesterday at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
Sandberg started 8th and had a fabulous race where he battled hard and passed six cars. He also managed to get the fastest time in the race which will allow him to start on the pole in round 8 later this morning.
Dore Chaponick Jr. started 9th in the race and was aiming for a top-five. He had a fast first half and battled really hard but was not able to finish the race due to an unexpected racing incident.
Race 2 is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. EDT on Sunday.
